A Hii link is a short address and a code you can point somewhere else later. Put it on a poster, a carton or a visiting card, change where it goes whenever you like, and see how many people scanned it.
Make a link10 short links at a time on the free plan. No card to start.
Every link is born with a short code — hii.cx/l/a7km2p — and that one never changes, never expires and cannot be taken by anybody else. On Hii for Business you can add a name beside it, hii.cx/l/diwali-2026, which is the one to read out on the phone or put on a hoarding. The QR is drawn on the short code, because a name can be retired and a printed carton cannot be recalled.
hii.cx/l/a7km2p — eight characters with no 0, 1, i, l or o in them, because somebody reads it off a poster and types it in.
Download it as a PNG for a screen, at print size for a poster, or as an SVG for whoever does your printing. Your own two colours, with a check that refuses a pair a scanner could not read.
Point it at this week’s offer, then at next week’s. The code on the wall is untouched, and every change is written down so you can tell your own edit from somebody else’s.
By day and by hour of the day, the city and the network, the device, and whether they came from a message or typed it in. Link previews and crawlers are counted apart, so your numbers are people.
A scan is counted with a salted code that changes every day. The same person on two days is two counts and nothing joins them. No IP address is stored.
The redirect answers before anything is counted, so a scan on a bad connection outside a shop is as fast as it can be.
Past your monthly count a link still redirects exactly as before. It is the per-scan detail that pauses, never the code on the wall.
