Refunds and cancellation

• Cancel any order before it is dispatched, for a full refund.
• A tag that arrives damaged, faulty or wrong: replaced or refunded in full.
• A plan you have not used on any item: refundable within 7 days.
• A used tag cannot be returned, because its code has been activated.

Before dispatch, cancel from the order in your account or write to us with the order number, and we refund in full. After dispatch, an order cannot be cancelled — refuse the delivery or return it under the section below instead.

An activated tag cannot be returned because activation permanently binds its code to an item — the printed code is the product, and once it has been used it cannot be sold again. If a tag stops working through no fault of yours, we replace it regardless of when.

Digital, so there is nothing to return. We refund a plan in full within 7 days of purchase if it has not yet been attached to an item.

After a plan is attached to an item it is in use, and a lifetime plan is not refundable from that point. A monthly or yearly subscription can be cancelled at any time: it stops renewing and stays active until the period you have already paid for ends. We do not refund part of a period.

If a paid feature does not work and we cannot fix it, we refund it, time limits notwithstanding. A plan that does not do what it says is not something you should have to argue about.

Write to support@hii.cx or use the contact form with your order number and what went wrong. Photographs help for anything damaged. You do not need to give a reason for a changed-your-mind return.

Refunds go back to the account you paid from — that is a rule of the payment network, not our preference, and we cannot send it elsewhere. The timings above start when we approve the refund and are set by your bank after that; Razorpay processes it, and we will give you the reference number if your bank asks for it.

We approve or decline within 2 working days of hearing from you, and tell you which.

• A tag whose activation code has been used.
• A lifetime plan already attached to an item, after 7 days.
• The remainder of a subscription period you have already used.
• Shipping, on a changed-your-mind return.
• Loss of the item itself. Hii is a way to be contacted, not insurance, and it cannot guarantee a lost thing comes back.

Write to our Grievance Officer at grievance@hii.cx. We acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days. That is in addition to your rights under consumer law, not instead of them.
