How HII works
The whole thing, end to end, with nothing hidden.
If you find something

Scan the tag
Point your phone camera at it. A page opens. There is nothing to install and no account to create — ever.

Choose what you want to do
Contact the owner, report that you found it, or use the emergency option if the owner has enabled one.

Send a message
Say where you found it. You can attach a photo and share your approximate area — both optional, and the area is rounded to about a kilometre.

Keep talking
The owner is notified straight away and replies in the same place. They never see your phone number, and you never see theirs.
If it’s your thing

Add the thing
Your keys, your bike, your dog’s collar. Give it a name you will recognise.

Get its HII identity
Every item gets a unique code straight away. Print the QR yourself, or order a proper tag built to survive weather and wear.

Attach it and forget about it
Nothing to charge, nothing to pair, no battery. It works with any phone camera in the world.

If it goes missing, switch on lost mode
The public page changes to say the item is lost, with your message and an optional reward. Turn it off the moment it comes back.
What HII never does
- Never shows your phone number to a finder.
- Never shows your email or home address.
- Never puts anything personal inside the QR code itself.
- Never records a finder’s exact location.
- Never requires the person who finds your things to sign up.
